Jim Repp with his Ziroli Hellcat powered by a Brison 5.8 spinning a 24-12 Mejlik 3 blade prop. 44 lbs Painted with model master paints. Fleet Air Arm scheme. Jim purchased the Hellcat from Sean McHaleand and repainted it, re-engined it and re-did all the radio equipment.

Lawrence Harville from Hurst, Texas with his F6F Hellcat built from a Bob Holman kit. This warbird features an 80 inch wingspan at 27 lbs powered by a Brison 3.2. Earl Aunt Gear and Chevron Paint finish.

Roy Roberts of Lawrenceville, Ga. with his Ziroli F6F Hellcat. It has a 94in wingspan and has a fiberglass fuse with a built up wing with plug in panels. Silkspan and dope on balsa sheeting and finished with automotive laquer base/clear. Powered by a Q75 with Robart retracts. Futaba radio gear. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Lenny Smith from Kenner La shows us his beautiful new F6F Hellcat. Built from a Don Lein epoxyglass and foam short kit it has an 82in wing, powered by a 3W60. Robart retracts, graphics by Bill Fulmer, Hitec servos, and Futaba radio. Glassed with West epoxy and .75oz cloth, finished with PPG base/clear.

John Fangohr with his completely scratch built Hellcat. This warbird was designed by John from 3-views published by Model Airplane News in the booklet "Scale Aircraft Drawings, volume 2". The wing spans 105 inches, and the fiberglass fuse (with integral wing center section) was pulled from John's own molds. It is powered by a Quadra 100 and weighs 53 pounds. Sean McHale poses by new Grumman Hellcat built from Ziroli plans. Constructed from balsa and ply then glassed and painted with Testors enamels with a Cheveron satin clear coat. This Hellcat features a 95" wingspan and an unbalanced weight of 30lbs and is powered by a Jonsered 4.9 gas engine.

David Chew from Spiceland Ind. and his good looking Ziroli Hellcat. David used all wood construction with fiberglass finish on this beauty. She comes in at 40lbs with a 96" wingspan. The very popular G-62 gives it the go and Robart gear get it straight down the runway.

Gary Dye from Mission Texas with his beautiful F6F Hellcat that he scratch built from enlarged Bates plans. Wood and foam glassed than painted with PPG paint. She has an 87" wingspan and weighs 27lbs. A Sachs 3.2 provides the power. Gary says this will be a future Yellow Aircraft kit.

Calvin Goodrich from Burnett Wisconsin brought this beautiful Grumman F6F Hellcat built from Ziroli plans. She comes in at 40lbs and has a Zenoah 445 twin for that realistic sound. The photo does not do justice to the fine workmanship in this model. Great warbird Calvin!
