Mr. B.B. Weber, top man at Bomber Field, poses by
his very scale B-29. Mr. Weber's B-29 has a 14 and 1/2 foot wingspan coming
in at 45lbs. with four OS 120 4 strokes. B.B. scratch built this great
looking bomber. This year the event drew 121 registered pilots and over
200 aircraft and 5000 spectators. |

Wendell Maakestad from Cedar Rapids Iowa brings home the Trophy
again this year. Congratulations Wendell! Wendell's B-17 is 50lbs. and
has a 10' wingspan. Featuring flaps, bomb drop, smoke and more! Four
Saito 65's power this beauty.

Gary Booth from Rhome, Texas brought this great looking
Nosen P-51. The Mustang features a 100" wingspan at 40lbs. with a G-62
for power. Gary won this plane in last years raffle! |

Kenny T. Hurt from Lake Jackson, Texas poses proudly with
his Bert Baker P-38. This warbird has 100" wingspan, weighs 31lbs.
and has two G-38's for motivation. Nice one Kenny!

Rick Michelena from McAllen, Texas lets us
view his Canadian Spitefire. Rick built this beauty from a Yellow Aircraft
kit. It features a 89" wingspan, 21lbs., and a US 41 engine with Quadra
52 carb. |

Mike Fabian from McAllen Texas shows off his Valley Aviation
P-47. Mikes Jug has a 92" wingspan and wieghs 36lbs. A Quadra 75
gives it plenty of go! |
David Ragsdale from Columbia, Mo. went south to show and
fly his great looking Zero he scratch built from Zirolli plans. This bird
features a 92" wingspan pulled nicely by a Quadra 50. |

Rick Michelena again, this time with a P-40 Warhawk. This
flying tiger was made from an American Eagle kit and uses a Quadra 75 to
chase down it's prey. |
It's a Val! This unusual warbird was designed by Don Williams
and detailed and painted by Bob Noser and Jim Bliss of Houston, Texas. She
has a 91" wingspan and a US 41 for power. |
