The TEJAS R/C Association hosted this great show
located in Edinburg, Tx. These lucky fliers use an abandoned full scale
runway 3000ft long and 100ft wide. At this years event there were 68 registered
pilots and over 2000 spectators for the 2 days. |

Tejas is located in the Rio Grande Valley, 250 miles
due south of San Antonio, Texas.
The field is located 9 miles north of Edinburg at
the Edinburg Airport and Drag Racing Track.

Ruben Ramos from Edinburg
Texas with his Ziroli Skyraider. This raider weighs 25lbs and features
bomb drop and belly tanks and a G-62 for power. Ramos uses Robart gear

Mission Texas shows off his Ziroli P51D Mustang. Jim's P51 comes in at 27lbs
and features Robart gear, Futaba radio and a G-62 for go. (click on

Xavier Pruneda from
Alamo Texas with his Yellow P-47 Razorback. This warbird has an 80"
wing and weighs 22lbs. Xavier uses a G-38 for power, Yellow retracts for

Mr. B.B. Weber,
top man at Bomber Field, poses by his very scale B-29. Mr. Weber's B-29
has a 14 and 1/2 foot wingspan coming in at 45lbs. with four OS 120 4 strokes.
