OWATONNA WARBIRD FLY-IN

RCWarbirds.com
On Saturday August 11th I attended this great event and was very happy to find a large RC field and friendly people. I flew my B-17 and took several photos of most of the fighters and bombers present. As far as events go I would rate this a number one!

Perfect weather, a large field and great warbirds sure make for a good day in Owatonna Minn. Yes that is a very large P-40 in the foreground.

A great aerial view of the Owatonna RC Modeler's flying field. The black runway is a very large fiber mat that works very well. The grass surround is also very nice and fairly smooth.
