Jon Thomson from Netherlands with his Topflite Corsair. It features numerous details like a cockpit, sliding canopy, cowl flaps, Robinair main & Robart tail gear. It also has speed controlled flaps, 3 landing gear controllers and on-board glow driver powering an OS 120S swinging a 14-8 3-blade prop. To top it all off the plane has nav lights, tail strobe, dual rotating beacons as well as landing lights. All the electronics are by Thomsom-Automation.

Ronnie Colyer from Arlington Texas poses by his Byron Corsair. Ronnie uses a Sachs 4.2 and Robart retracts on his beautiful 86" wingspan warbird. ( Click on picture to see larger image )

Jerry Bolick from Hickory, NC. shows off his Corsair "Big Hog". Jerry used Meister plans with wood construction covered in Solar Tex. This Corsair comes in at 35lbs with a 100" wingspan. A G-62 gives it go while Robart retracts keep it straight. Jerry uses a JR radio for control. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Ron Storer from Lawerenceville, GA. with another great warbird. Ron's F4U Corsair is from a Meister kit and features wood construction covered in silkspan. 100" wingspan and 30lbs are handled with a Q-75 up front and Robart gear keep it upright. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Dave Kobilka from Oakdale Minn. with his very large F4U Corsair. Dave built his warbird from Nosen plans using foam and fiberglass. This gull wing is 115" wide and weighs 50lbs. An 8.4 Air Hobbies engine gets it off the deck. The huge static four blade fan really gives this Corsair some presence. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Bob Tomasulo from Palantine, Ill. with his Ziroli Corsair. This good looking warbird was built by Jeff Quesenberry and features a built up wing with fiberglass fuse. 93" wingspan with functional flaps keep it flying while a Sachs 4.2 spins the prop. Bob uses Coleman Fuel and says it performs the same as gas but with no gas smell. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Jack Conwell from Mooreland, In. owns this great looking Ziroli Corsair. This warbird weighs in at 34lbs and has a 93" wingspan. A G-62 gets it rollin'.

Jason G. Rigney from Arlington Hts, Ill. gives us a look at his nicely finished Byron Corsair. Byron fiberglass and foam, 23lbs and an 86" wingspan complete the package.. This beauty is powered by the ever popular G-62.

Gary Bussell From Muncie Indiana shows us his Ziroli Corsair. Wood construction with Coverite covering bring it to only 26lbs. This warbird has a wingspan of 84" and is powered be a G-62. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Bob Walker from St. Charles Illinois with his weathered Ziroli Corsair. Balsa construction, Z-Poxy, glass. This warbird has a 96" wingspan and weighs 30lbs. A Sachs 4.2 makes all the difference in this great looking F4-U.

Duwayne Kunezi proudly shows off his four year old Top Flight F4U-7 Corsair in French Navy colors. Duwayne says this was the last Corsair made and flew for the French navy in 1956. This colorful warbird flies well with a US 41 engine and Robart retracts. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Bill Botts from Ankeny Iowa shows off his sharp Byron Corsair. This gull wing comes in at 26lbs and is powered by a 3w60. Bill really knows how to fly heavy metal and always gives the crowd a great show. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Jimmy Banana's Corsair is looking mean and ready as it prepares for take off. This good looking Byron Corsair has a Sachs 3.7 to get it airborne quickly. Perfect paint, flaps, retracts and bomb drop round out the goodies. Jimmy, (Mr. Scale) keeps the crowd happy when he puts this beauty through it's paces. Jimmy say's, "Best flying warbird I've ever owned, can land on a dime and give you 25 cents change!"

Jack Devine's Corsair is a Byron kit powered by the Mustang 50 engine. This great looking warbird is equipped with flaps, retracts and a complete cockpit with sliding canopy. I am sure John gets plenty of attention wherever he takes this cool gull wing. (Click on picture to see more)
   
Ron Olmstead's Corsair: "There are very few RC airplanes that sound and look as good as this one did as it flew by full throttle ten feet from the deck. It looked great in the air and sounded like a Indy car as it went by. Flew very solid, had no bad tendencies. Very satisfying project, would do it again in a heartbeat!"
